Meet Dr. Grimes

Though Dr. Weston Grimes grew up in Pasadena, California, he and his family have always had ties to Massachusetts. He attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where he majored in American History while completing his pre-medical courses. After receiving his degree, he moved back to Southern California to be with his family. He spent a year participating in lab-based research at the USC Center for Craniofacial and Molecular Biology which resulted in three separate publications on stem cells’ effect on tooth development and jaw growth. He then attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where he found his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After graduating with his D.D.S. degree, he attended the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Residency program at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles General Medical Center. Throughout his residency, he received extensive training in head and neck infections, oral pathology, facial trauma, dental implants and extractions, jaw reconstruction and grafting, as well as anesthesia and sedation while covering multiple hospitals in the Los Angeles area. He then earned his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and additionally his M.D. degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He now resides on Cape Cod with his wife and son and is enthusiastic to provide the highest quality of treatment to his new community.
